SoCalHoops HS Top 20
Division III-AA--
(Jan. 12, 2003)

We've held off until now putting up any polls, but cannot wait any longer.  With the start of league play this week for most of the Southern Section, and with only a month and a half before playoffs, it's time..... Here's the first of our weekly polls for the Southern Section.  We admit we've been having difficulty with team results and records, so if we're off on a couple of teams, just remember, this is for fun only.... This was a tough division to rank, mostly because a lot of the records were not reported this past week, and many that were reported were incorrect.  Where a team's record was not found, they have gone unranked.  And that's not a good thing, since it's tough to find 20 teams that have winning records in this division.   Given that, unless some teams have a dramatic turnaround, we don't expect to see more than a 16 team bracket, but you never know, and that's what makes this interesting.
