Official CIF-SS Boys' Division III-AA &  III-A Polls
For Week Of Feb. 10--(Feb. 10, 2003)

Here are the official CIF-SCIBCA Polls for Divisions III-AA and III-A.   The number in parentheses represents last week's rankings.   This is most likely the last official poll that will be issued before the playoffs, and thus could very well be the final poll of the season (since the playoff results will, of necessity determine final standings, there's really no reason to do another poll once the playoffs begin next week.

There was some small movement among the top 4 teams in each division, but nothing of any substance, and nothing which would change the constituency of the top 4 seeds in either bracket if they were to be done today.  In III-AA, Los Altos and Calabasas trade places, which means that as a result of Calabasas' loss last week, they will get to be in the same half of the bracket as No. 1 Artesia.   Likewise, in Division III-A, Harvard-Westlake's loss last week to Notre Dame helped Ocean View vault into the No. 2 spot, but it will have not much real effect on the bracket, because the No. 2 and No. 3 teams are in the same half anyway.

Lots of other movement down among the No. 7-10 ranked teams, but in the long run, because only the top 4 teams are considered "seeds" in the brackets, being ranked anywhere from No. 5-10 is mostly for bragging rights.
