Here's the bracket updated with tonight's schedules.  If you're interested in finding out about how the teams got here, we've collected some scores and details from the second round games which were played on Tuesday (first round scores and details are also noted too.  We've already posted the scores and details from the wild card games so those aren't repeated here).  Here's the bracket:

First Round Scores and Details (in bracket order)-- Games Played Friday, February 21:

Eisenhower 65, Montclair 48--

Murrieta Valley 70, Highland 63--

Millikan 56,  Downey 46 --

Santa Monica 71, Arroyo Grande 30--Brent DeAngelis had 16 points and Mark Covin added 15 points to lead host Santa Monica (22-5).

Upland 80, Ayala 57 --Maurice Newton had 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead host Upland (20-7) over Ayala (12-15).

Valencia 68, Peninsula 62 --Scott Domingo scored 17 of 19 points in the second half and Andrew Bruckner finished with 17 points and 15 rebounds for Valencia (22-5), which trailed by as many as 19 points in the first half. The Vikings outscored Peninsula, 23-6, in the third quarter when Domingo scored 13 points. Sean Weinstein had 19 of his game-high 25 points in the first half for Peninsula.

Oxnard 76, Aliso Niguel 50 --Ivan Barragan scored 18 points and Henry Patterson had 16 for fourth-seeded Oxnard (24-3).

Fontana 89, Santa Ana 50 --

Temecula Valley 87, Rancho Cucamonga 81--

Leuzinger 66, Fountain Valley 48--Dorell Wright scored 22 points and Myron Terrell added 17 points for host Leuzinger (19-9). Justin Setser had 15 points and Eric Hayman added 13 points for Fountain Valley (13-15).

Long Beach Poly 67, Dana Hills 40--

Etiwanda 62, Santiago 42--David Carter had 13 points and Ethan Leano and Joey Smits both added 10 points to lead Etiwanda (20-7). Tim Denson scored 11 points for host Santiago (14-12).

Long Beach Wilson 70, Diamond Bar 49--

Silverado 91, Alhambra 42--Kyle Lewis scored 13 points to lead host Silverado (26-1) over Alhambra (11-16). Moses Velasco led Alhambra with 20 points.


Second Round (in bracket order)  Games Played Tuesday, February 25, 2003:

Eisenhower 74, Murrieta Valley 52 --Five players scored in double figures for top-seeded Eisenhower (21-7), led by Daniel Burke with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Santa Monica 59, Long Beach Millikan 56 --Brett DeAngelis and Mark Covin both scored 14 points each to lead host Santa Monica (23-5).

Lynwood 59, Upland 56--

Oxnard 56, Valencia 52 --Henry Patterson had 24 points to lead host Oxnard (25-3), which tied the all-time school record for wins in a single season. Curtis Dunwoody had 17 points to pace Valencia (23-6).

Temecula Valley 71, Fontana 67--

Leuzinger 65, Long Beach Poly 63 --Myron Terrell had 19 points and Dorell Wright scored the game-winning a layup with 16 seconds left for Leuzinger (18-9). Chris Field scored 20 points for host Long Beach Poly (14-5)

Ontario 60, Etiwanda 54--

Silverado 57, Long Beach Wilson 54 --Jaimie Lester, who finished with 18 points, made three three-pointers in the final two minutes of the game for second-seeded Silverado (27-1). Vince Alvarado added 11 points for Silverado. Kevin Crokett had 21 points for Wilson (19-10).


All games with the exception of the final round will start at 7:30 p.m. unless another time is mutually agreed upon and clearance is received from the CIF-SS Office.  Public coin flips will be held in the lobby of the CIF-SS Office at 9:00 a.m. the day following each playoff game [these coin flips will determine subsquent sites after the first round, i.e., which school will be the host].  Coin flips will be available after 9:30 a.m. and we'll try to keep everyone posted with them here.
