Here's the bracket updated with tonight's schedules.   If you're interested in finding out about how the teams got here, we've collected some scores and details from the second round games which were played on Tuesday (first round scores and details are also noted too.  We've already posted the scores and details from the wild card games so those aren't repeated here).  Here's the bracket:

First Round Scores and Details (in bracket order)-- Games Played Friday, February 21:

San Gorgonio 71, Rubidoux 51 --Khorry Lewis scored 18, Jacob Daigle added 17 points and Kevin Houston had 16 points to lead host San Gorgonio (26-2) over Rubidoux (13-14).

Katella 59, Perris 51--
Jeff Clement had 19 points, Elliott Tyson 12 points and Robert Alvarez 11 points for visiting Katella (17-10), which outscored Sunbelt League champion Perris (16-10), 19-10, in the final quarter. Ethan Haller had seven of Katella's fourth-period points.

Westlake 76, Keppel 58--

Inglewood 66, Sunny Hills 47--Ray Reed had 22 points and Yonas Michael added 15 points to lead host Inglewood (19-9). Brandy Tony scored 16 points to lead Sunny Hills (17-9).

JW North 52, Woodbridge 51 (OT)--

Centennial 93, Bloomington 62--played 2/19

El Dorado 42, Huntington Beach 35--

Santa Barbara 63, Antelope Valley 49-- Santiago Aguirre had 25 points and 15 rebounds and Taylor Rochestie had 13 points, nine rebounds and five assists for fourth-seeded Santa Barbara (23-4).

St. John Bosco 79, La Sierra 62--Eric Lane had 27 points, making five three-pointers, and Mike Davis had 11 points and 12 rebounds for third-seeded St. John Bosco (22-6).

Pasadena 52, Foothill 50 -- Brandon Sweeney had a steal and a layup at the buzzer to give Pasadena (12-13) the victory. Pasadena made a free throw with five seconds remaining to tie, but missed the second before Sweeney got his steal. Sweeney scored 19 points to lead Pasadena, which led by 12 at the start of teh fourth quarter.

Troy 80, Cathedral City 47--Trent Hardeman had 25 points and 11 rebounds, Maurice Johnson had 15 points and Travis Hardeman added 11 points to lead host Troy (20-7) over Cathedral City (18-10). Cathedral City's Brent Otterson scored 13 points.

Riverside ML King 77, Hemet 72--

Moorpark 79, Mira Costa 64--

Buena 74, Newport Harbor 73 (2OT)--

Villa Park 64, Arroyo 40-- Kevin Zhang scored 12 points for Arroyo (13-14) in a loss to host Villa Park (22-5).


Second Round (in bracket order)  Games Played Tuesday, February 25, 2003:

San Gorgonio 69, Katella 41--Kevin Houston scored 20 points and Jacob Daigle had 18 to lead San Gorgonio (27-2). Katella finishes the season 17-11.

Inglewood 84, Westlake 67 --Ray Reed scored 28 points, including nine in the final quarter, and Jaron Kinsey and Jon Joshua scored 14 points each for Inglewood (20-9), which trailed, 42-27, at the half.

Corona Centennial 65, JW North 61--Kevin Rogers had 22 points for Corona Centennial (19-8). Marcus Slaughter scored 26 points for host North (17-8).

Santa Barbara 52, El Dorado 48 --Taylor Rochestie scored 18 points and Santiago Aguirre scored 17 points and had 15 rebounds to lead Santa Barbara (24-4). El Dorado is 17-11.

St. John Bosco 84, Pasadena 61 -- Eric Lane had 19 points and Robert Reynaga added 17 for third-seeded St. John Bosco (23-6). Host Pasadena finished 14-12.

Riverside ML King 57, Troy 45 --Matt Thomas scored eight of his 16 points and DeAndre Robinson had nine of his 11 points in the fourth quarter for King (22-6). Thomas also had eight rebounds and five steals and Robinson finished with six rebounds and two steals. Travis Hardeman had 13 points for Troy (20-8).

Moorpark 57, Buena 55--

Villa Park 68, Irvine University 51 --Sean Phaler had 19 points for second-seeded Villa Park (23-5), which outscored University, 38-23, in the second half. A.J. Moscus had 19 points for University (18-9).


All games with the exception of the final round will start at 7:30 p.m. unless another time is mutually agreed upon and clearance is received from the CIF-SS Office.  Public coin flips will be held in the lobby of the CIF-SS Office at 9:00 a.m. the day following each playoff game [these coin flips will determine subsquent sites after the first round, i.e., which school will be the host].  Coin flips will be available after 9:30 a.m. and we'll try to keep everyone posted with them here.
