The LA City Section does not formally announce an "All-CIF" team like the Southern Section does. But for years, a panel of sportwriters (mostly LA Times prep beat writers) pick an "All-City" team and they also select one or more players for their player of the year. The list of selected players was released today in the Los Angeles Times print edition, in the small agate section of the paper, but to our knowledge, other than announcing the POY selection, the Times' website didn't print the full list, and it's also nowhere to be found on the LA City Section CIF official website either. So, as we do every year, we'll post it here. Congratulations to all those players selected for the honor, you all deserve it.
