Division IV-AA boys bracket

So, here we are, a year later, and once again, Crossroads is in the finals one more time......Who would have predicted that before the start of this season? Certainly not us, not after the graduation of most of last year's team and with only one returning starter, who was injured for a good part of this year (Robert Locke). And who would have predicted that only two years into a full varsity schedule, and just four short years after opening the doors of the school for the first time, Oaks Christian HS of Westlake would be in the finals? Again, not us. Should be an interesting game next Friday at LMU. We're not certain of the time yet, but we'll post it as soon as we know.

Crossroads 46, Murphy 39--Robert Locke scored 19 points and Robert Reynolds added 14 points to lead host Crossroads (17-14) over Murphy (20-9) at Brentwood High School. Murphy's Chuma Awaji scored 20 points.

Oaks Christian 78, Santa Maria St. Joseph 70 --Mike Hornbuckle had 39 points, including six 3-pointers, and six rebounds to lead host Oaks Christian (22-4) over Santa Maria St. Joseph (21-8) at Westlake High School. Third-seeded Oaks Christian extended a 35-34 halftime lead with the help of Hornbuckle's 17 points in the second half. Joe Tilley scored 28 points to lead Santa Maria St. Joseph.
