Division V-A boys bracket

The semifinals have not been completely set as of the time of this posting, because Tarbut v' Torah and South Bay Lutheran won't play until later tonight, but at least 3/4's of the participants are now known. Based on last night's results, Price will play Mesrobian in the upper half of the bracket and Desert Chapel will meet the winner of the Maricopa vs. Tarbut game. The Price vs. Mesrobian game will be played at an alternate site to be selected by Price (which is the host team). We'll update this later tonight after the Tarbut vs. Maricopa game is concluded. In the meantime, here's what the bracket looks like:

Price 102, West Valley Christian 51 --Billy Grayson and Marcus Palmer both scored 15 points to lead No. 1 seed Price (26-2).

Mesrobian 59, Renaissance Academy 50 --Tigran Grigorian scored 22 points for fifth-seeded Mesrobian (19-3), which plays defending state champion LA Price in a semifinal Tuesday. Host Renaissance Academy, the fourth-seed, finished 18-8. Baret Chakarian had nine assists for Mesrobian.

Palm Springs Desert Chapel 71, Rio Hondo Prep 66 --Reed Ritchie scored 27 points and Shane Nicholas added 16 points to pace host Palm Springs Desert Chapel (18-9). Bill Ritter scored 23 points to lead No. 2 seeded Rio Hondo Prep (19-6).
