(Games Through 2/3/01)

1 Inglewood Record: 22-4, 12-0. SCIBCA CIF Poll: No. 1. They've beaten everyone in Bay League. A lot better than we thought they'd be at the beginning of the year. Teddy Fletcher, DeAngelo Collins, Terrell Stovall, Anthony Davis lead; Jason McKinney injured.  Hosting Redondo on 2/6, and North Torrance on 2/8.
2 Dominguez Record: 20-4, 9-0.  SCIBCA CIF Poll No. 3.  They will travel to Trenton, NJ next Friday for the Prime Time Shootout.   Next week will be very tough: 2/6 @ Lynwood; 2/8 W Gahr, and 2/9 in New Jersey. If Tyson Chandler can get some guard support from Bobby Jones and if Darius Sanders is healthy and Samir Hernandez can avoid getting tossed on T's, they'll be ok.
3 Santa Margarita Record:  20-4, 2-2.  SCIBCA CIF Poll No. 2. SM lost on Wednesday to Mater Dei and then lost again on Saturday to Corona Centennial by 10.   They are still one of the better teams in the division. Lenny Collins, CJ Hubbard, Travis Smith, RJ Socci Adam Tancredi, and Brandon Rohe lead. Next Up @ Servite on Wednesday, 2/7 to close out the league/regular season.

10 Chaparral Record: 18-6, 4-2.  SCIBCA CIF Poll No. 7 (tie with Santa Barbara, who we have ranked much lower because without Dom Ingerson, they are just a good team, but we digress. . .).  Joe Buller, Ryan Cooke David Castilo, Juan Castro, and Allen Craig lead. Chaparral still has a chance to share the   Southwestern League Championship by defeating Temescal Canyon and Murrieta Valley this week; if they do, there would be a three-way tie between the three schools, provided Temescal beats Temecula Valley on Friday.
