1 Crossroads SCIBCA/CIF Poll No. 1 and still No. 1 in the division in the SoCalHoops Poll.  Beat ot nearly as dominant as in past season.  Beat Crenshaw in the preseason, but then had a run of bad luck at several December tournaments. Still, there are not many teams in this division who will challenge. 
2 St. Monica Record: 17-7, 6-2.  SCIBCA/CIF Poll No. 2 Lost to Verbum Dei but beat Mary Star this past Friday.  Sean Cole continues to lead, with Jamayne Potts and Marcus Shelby.  Next Up: @ Bosco Tech on Monday 2/5, then hosting St. Anthony's on Wed. 2/7 to close out the regular season. 
3 Calvary Chapel Santa Ana Record: 17-5, 7-1.  SCIBCA/CIF Poll No. 4 Have won three straight since 1/20.  Beat Maranatha convincingly on Friday. Senior forward Bryan Filkey, point guard Isaiah Barney lead the Eagles  Next Up: @ Whittier Christian 1/26.
4 Desert Christian Record: 15-6, 7-1.  Unranked in SCIBCA/CIF Poll.   Not even among "others" but they did beat Silver Valley (ranked No. 7 in the CIF poll) on Friday by 11.  Will win the Desert Mountain League.  One game remains, hosting Mammoth on 2/6 to close out the season.  Won big against Mammoth at their place the first time around, so they should finish 16-6, 8-1.  
5 Providence Record: 14-6, 10-1.  SCIBCA/CIF Poll No. 8.   Beat Oakwood this past Friday.  Will play Buckley (No. 2 Division V-AA) on Monday in a game which will be for the Liberty League title as both teams are 10-1. Derek Jones (6'-6" Sr. F) leads the team. Up this week: Hosting Buckley on Monday; @ Holy Martyrs on Wednesday 2/7, and @ Oakwood on Friday 2/9.
6 St. Bernard Record: 12-12, 2-4. SCIBCA/CIF Poll No. 3. Beat Bishop Amat on 1/31 and have been idle since.  Next Up: @ Serra on 2/5 and then @ St. Paul on 2/7 to close the regular season.
7 LA Baptist Record: 13-7, 2-5. SCIBCA/CIF Poll No. 5.  Lost to Village Christian on Friday in a double overtime game, and their record is not consistent in league, but then they've got Kilpatrick and Marshall to contend with and should finish third or fourth. Chris Tillman, Andrew Peterson , Brian Sanders, Mike Madigan lead.   Nest Up: Only one game remains, @ Paraclete on 2/6.

Loma Linda Academy

Record: 11-9, 4-7.  SCIBCA/CIF Poll: Not ranked.  Lost to Woodcrest Christian on Saturday. Next Up: Linfield on 2/8 to close out the season.

9 Brentwood Record: 9-11, 4-5  SCIBCA/CIF Poll No. 6.  Beat Montclair Prep on Friday 57-55 and are now 2-3 in league.  Next Up: hosting Whitney on 1/25.
10 Mojave SCIBCA/CIF Poll No 9.  We still have no idea what their current record is, but they lost to Brentwood this past weekend. Next: Hosting Vasquez on 2/6, then @ Desert on 2/8 to close out the regular season.
10 Maranatha Record: 9-10, 2-5. Maranatha is in danger of not qualifying for a playoff spot after dropping a game to CC Santa Ana by 6 points on Friday.   Currently struggling to finish in the top half of the Olympic League, David Newkirk continues to be the senior team leader.  Next Up: Hosting Orange Lutheran on 2/6, and then @ Brethren Christian on 2/8, and the team should qualify for playoffs.
