Canadian Interuniversity Athletic Union-- The governing body for Canadian college athletics. The Canadian Interuniversity Athletic Union (CIAU) is the national governing body of university sport in Canada. It is composed of the majority of degree granting universities in the country with 47 members and over 10,000 student-athletes. These 47 member universities are also members of five (5) geographically aligned regional associations:
