Top 10 Polls For This Week--(Jan. 25, 2000)
Below is the latest CIF Southern Section's official top 10 poll for Division III, and there have been several minor moves, and by and large this is just about the same as last week. Harvard Westlake and Morningside have switched places, as have Chaminade and Compton Centennial, but otherwise there has been no movement this past week.
The poll is compiled by the SCIBCA (Southern California Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association). Basically each division is composed of a committee consisting of a number of coaches who review standings, strength of schedule, results and the like. Committee members submit their respective votes and these are compiled and tabulated and the result is what you see below. Polls will be issued weekly by the CIF Southern Section office. This should also be posted up on the Southern Section website either this evening or by tomorrow at the latest.
