Final Reminder: LA City Section Marine League
MLK Today--(Jan. 15, 2000)

Hey, not everyone will be at Long Beach City College on Saturday January 15, 2000 for the adidas Double Pump Hoop Challenge featuring 16 top teams from SoCal.

At Harbor City College the LA City Section is holding their own mini-marathon today: The Marine League (Banning, Carson, Narbonne, San Pedro, Gardena, and Washington) is holding their own MLK event, showcasing the basketball teams from all schools within the league.

The event will consist of regular season varsity games starting at 11:00 a.m. with the San Pedro vs. Narbonne boys' game, with further match-ups continuing throughout the day.

These will be boys and girls games; sorry, no JV games (which will be held on their regularly scheduled day.) We don't have a clue about ticket prices for the event, but if you're a fan of any of these schools, then you'll probably want to check it out.
