All League Honors Start
To Roll In--(Feb. 25, 2000)
It's customary to not release "All-League" honors in most of the Southern Section and City Section leagues until all the teams from any given league have been eliminated from the playoffs. Some leagues handle this differently, but in the majority that we have experience with, post-playoff notifications of all-league honors typically comes after everyone is out of the playoffs. Since we're getting down to the short strokes in the Southern Section and City Section playoffs, with either quarterfinal or semifinal games taking place tonight and tomorrow night, some of the all-league stuff is starting to show up in the papers. Two leagues were announced today in the LA Times Valley Edition: The City Section "All-Valley Mission League" and the Southern Section Mission League.
