So how did we do? Not bad. Almost nailed the Crenshaw score (off by two points on each team). Fairfax was almost right on also, and Westchester. . . well, they just scored too many points :^). Hey, three out of four isn't bad, and we're willing to bet that the Taft game would have turned out differently if the freshman Steve Smith, who is averaging about 20 ppg would have played for Taft (evidently his parents held him out of the game for "non-school" issues, according to the LA Times. )

We'll have the details of these games later (well most of the details from the games involving Valley region teams because those are the only box scores we could find.

Here's the revised bracket based on these results. The semifinals will be played Friday night at "alternate sites" meaning it won't be at the host school, at least that's what we've been told. It may also be that these games are in fact going to be at the host school (meaning the higher seeded team) but we'll have to verify that with the City Section later today.

The City Finals, in the City Championship are scheduled for March 3 at the Great Western Forum and the boys will get underway at 8:00 p.m. Admission Prices at Finals for the City Championships will be $6.00 for Student (Pre-Sale); General Admission $9, Reserved Seating $10, and Children (under 12) $3.
