Pac-10 Picks Up Two Local Commitments:
Hanour & Johnson--(Feb 27, 2000)

According to the Daily News this morning, USC has picked up a verbal commitment from Travis Hanour (6'-5" Sr. SG/SF)  of Laguna Beach, who picked the Trojans over Arizona, Utah, and San Diego State.  Hanour was on campus taking a visit this weekend when he committed.   Hanour makes the third commitment so far for next year.  Desmond Farmer from Flint, Michigan signed a national letter of intent during the early signing period and Robert Hutchinson from Okaloosa-Walton Community College in Niceville, Florida (which must be right next to Pleasantville), committed in December.

And it seems that Josiah Johnson (6'-8" Sr. PF/SG) from Montclair Prep also committed this weekend to UCLA, and he'll sign a national letter of intent during the late signing period in April.
