Following on the heels of the San Gabriel Valley All-Star Game which took place on Friday night before a packed crowd will be the High Desert Coaches' Association All-Star Game which will take place today at 3:00 p.m. at Antelope Valley College. We won't be able to attend, but would be interested in hearing who played well from anyone who does attend. The featured players will be Littlerock High's Gene Myvett and Palmdale's Eric Brown Myvett was the Golden League's Most Valuable Player and Brown one of the region's top scorers. Littlerock teammates Justin Berkley and Jose Zavala also are participating, along with Palmdale's Travis Ritchie. A slam-dunk contest will be the highlight of halftime festivities.
