Cal Poly Pomona Spring Showcase
Set For May 19-21---(Mar. 30, 2000)

This is the day for posting up news about upcoming tournaments. . . not just the big-time high school boys' tournaments like the Double Pump "Pump N' Run Easter Tournament" which takes place this coming weekend (April 7-9), or the Mats' Madness, or any of the other countless high school tournaments, but also a lot of youth tournaments, for both boys and girls. Well, this one is just for the girls, but it's a big one. It's not often that we post the actual entry forms, but when our friends at Cal Poly Pomona sent us this one, we sort of figured, "Why not?" So here it is. Just print and then mail or fax it in. . . .

ENTRY:
$200.00 per team. Entry fee includes a minimum of 3 games. Please mail non-refundable $100.00 deposit check to Tournament Director. (This ensures your spot in the bracket) Entry is on a first come basis. Please make checks payable to CAL POLY POMONA WOMEN’S BASKETBALL. Note: Deposit checks received after bracket is full, will be returned.

FORMAT:
Will be determined by the number of teams entered. Bracket or Pool play.
10 & Under Green Division. 11 & Under Gold Division.
12 & Under White Division. 13 & Under Black Division.

GENERAL:
1. Two 20 minute halves, stop time last 2 minutes of second half only. Two time-outs per game, 2 minute overtime (stop time).
2. All games will be officiated by CIF referees.
3. Rosters (including no more than 10 players and two coaches) must be received by May 15, 2000.
4. Tournament pairings and brackets will be mailed out as soon as they are finalized.
5. Birth certificate or AAU card will be required upon check in the first day of competition. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
6. Gym will be open only to players and two coaches 30 minutes prior to first game each day.

Adults $3.00 Children $2.00 Under 2 Free
10 Players and 2 Coaches Free

OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT HEADQUARTERS
We are asking all of our out of town guest to stay at the HOLIDAY INN SELECT of Diamond Bar. For the CPP rate you must contact Lisa 909 860-5440.

CONCESSIONS:
Food and beverages will be available for your convenience throughout the tournament. There will be no outside refreshments allowed inside the facilities.
