This April 14 & 15, the Buena Park Boys & Girls Club, located at 7758 Knott will host the "Great 8 Basketball Classic." This is a tournament for boys 14U/7^th and 8^th grade, (birthday as of September 1, 2000). Sorry but there will be no high school players allowed in this tournament.  The entry deadline is Thursday April 6, 2000, and you'll need to submit entry fee, rosters and verification of age/grade by that date. All teams are guaranteed a minimum of two games, CIF rules apply. Team trophies and awards will be awarded for first and second place. Team trophy for third place. All Tournament and MVP will be selected. The entry fee is $250.00 per team.  A small admission fee will be charged at the door, $1.00 per day per adult in order to further subsidize the event and raise funds for the Boys & Girls Club; of course, kids get in free.
