Fightin' Knights Boys' 11-U Tournament Set
For April 15 & 16--(Mar. 7, 2000)

Normally we don't make a special point of posting up a Daily Article about a youth-level tournament, but this will be an exception to the rule. Our friend Ken Miller (the voice of so many showcase and all-star events--you know, "Tenacious Tayshaun Prince", "Marvelous Marlon Parmer", etc.) wanted us to let everyone know about the First Annual Fightin' Knights Basketball Association's first ever 11-U Boys Basketball Tournament, which is sponsored by Fouline Sports and Warehouse Shoe Sale. Warehouse Shoe Sale also sponsors the Scholastic Hoops Jam, which will be coming up shortly as well, and as soon as we find out more about that one, we'll post the details.

The Fightin' Knights Tournament will be held April 15-16 at Veteran Sports Complex, which is located in Carson. Team entry fee is $200, and there will be individual awards for first and second place teams, and team awards for third, fourth and consolation teams.

Registration for the Fightin' Knights Tournament is limited, and all team entries must be in by March 15. Ken tells us that only the first seven teams will be accepted, so if you've got an 11-U team that you think is competitive, give Ken Miller a call at (310) 676-1490 for further information on registration.
