All League Selections: CIF-SS
All-South Coast League--(Apr. 1, 2000)
The Orange County Register today published some of the All-League selections we've been waiting for, including the Southern Section South Coast League. Keep in mind that each league has its own rules as to the number of players on each team, so this varies from league to league. Some leagues have as many all-league selections as there are teams in the league, some allow two per team, and other leagues treat each "team" as though it should be the top five players in the league overall, while still others try to make it a real "team" by position, i.e., the best point guard in the league, the best center, etc. . . We're not sure exactly what the criteria was for this All-League team, but these were the players selected by a vote of the league's coaches.
