Albert Miller Reportedly
Signs With UCI--(Apr. 27, 2000)

According to Dave Benezra at Recruiting USA, with whom we had a lengthy conversation last night on a variety of topics, several local players recently signed LOI's, and one of them was Albert Miller (6'-3" So. SG) who played this past year for Coach Mike Miller at LA City College.    Although UCI hasn't officially announced the signing yet, such an announcment should be forthcoming as soon as the school receives the letter.

Miller attended LA Westchester, graduating in June 1998, and his senior season the Comets won a Division I State Championship as well as the LA City Section title.  Albert originally committed to Washington State but then transferred to the College of Southern Idaho.  This past season he played for the Cubs, averaging 13 ppg and 5 rebounds a game.

Miller joins other Anteater signees Mike Hood (6'-3" So. SG) also from the College of Southern Idaho, who signed last week, and Dave Korfman (7'-1" So. C) from Mira Costa College and Stanislav Zuzak (6'-9" PF) from the Czech Republic, who will have four years of eligibility at Irvine.
