Rising Stars Will Host San Diego
Memorial Day Tournament--(May 5, 2000)

Fresno's Mats' Madness (formerly the adidas Hoop Summit) won't be the only tournament going on in SoCal over the memorial day weekend (although it will be the largest one happening on the West Coast for high school-age travel teams). Ollie Goulston, who runs the Rising Stars program and the "Super 60 League" down in San Diego, wanted us to let everyone know that Rising Stars will be hosting a BCI National Regional Qualifier tournament over the Memorial Day holiday weekend, so if you're not going to Fresno, San Diego is the place to be.

The tournament will run from May 27 - 29 in San Diego, California, and participating teams can qualify to participate in the BCI National Championships, which will be held later in the summer. The tournament is for teams and players ages 10-high school, and some of the teams who have already committed to playing are SCA, Arizona Stars, Seattle Yes Foundation, Rising Stars, and South Coast Stars, all some of the top travel teams in the country.
