carls junior roster & results

This was a team consisting of mostly Orange County, Santa Barbara and Fresno guys and we're looking forward to seeing them in Vegas or elsewhere because we did not see them (with four sites running simultaneously, it's pretty tough to be everywhere at once). They wound up third in their pool (1-2) losing to IEBP 81-65, losing to the Sacramento Renegades 66-60, and beating Cal/NY 79-56. Not much else to add about this team, except that we're a bit confused by their roster, in particular that last Fresno Central player, listed as "Andres Block". . . we're pretty certain that it's not Andreas Bloch who is a 6'-8" Sr. SF from Fresno Central HS who just signed with Villanova for next year, but the name is way too similar. . .
