Crespi Summer Classic Tournament:
First Day Pool Results--(June 28, 2000)
While the War on the Floor was winding down, the Crespi Summer Classic, a 16 team tournament at Crespi HS in Encino, was just getting started with the first day of pool play. We don't have the pool assignments, nor do we have the brackets, but we've got the first day's pool play results:
Crespi 70, Village Christian 23
North Hollywood 48, Alemany 12
Notre Dame 53, Burbank 48
Grant 51, Harvard-Westlake 46
Westlake 51, Granada Hills 39
Valencia 56, Reseda 42
Burroughs 40, Hover 30
Kennedy 51, La Salle 47
The games scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday) are as follows:

We'll try to get Crespi Coach Dick Dornan to send us the brackets and the pool assignments. . .Coach, are you out there. . . if not, maybe we'll have to drive over to check it out.
