Duarte Summer Kickoff Tourney: Bishop
Amat Takes Title--(June 18, 2000)

Here are the final result for the Duarte Summer Kick Off Tournament.

Championship Game:
Bishop Amat 40, La Canada 31

The Championship game was dominated by defense. Bishop Amat sent all the horses out at La Canada, whose disciplined attack and precision passing balanced out Amat's press most of the game. La Canada held a 3 point lead at the half. Late in the game Bishop Amat hit two key three pointers to open up an 8 point lead. Bishop held off LC's press at the end of the game to capture the championship.
