Rim Rattler All-West Camp Relocates
To Lynwood HS--(June 12, 2000)

Dinos Trigonis, who in addition to coaching the Belmont Shore team and running the Belmont program (which now has three travel teams with some of the top players in the country), holds two showcase events, the Long Beach Fall and Spring Showcases, the Long Beach Fall Hoops Classic, an excellent tournament, publishes Fullcourt Press, a recruiting newsletter for college coaches and interested subscribers, as well as the Fullcourt Press website, and who also runs the Rim Rattler All-West Camp, has announced that the Camp has moved this year from it's former location at Long Beach City College and will now be held at Lynwood HS.

The Camp, which will run concurrently with the second session of the Double Pump West Coast All-Star Camp at Dominguez Hills, will take place from July 11-13, 2000. Lynwood HS is located 1 mile west off the Imperial Hwy West exit of the Long Beach 710 freeway, just minutes from LBCC and just about 15-20 minutes east of the Los Angeles International Airport and also only minutes away from Dominguez Hills, which should make the trip a lot easier for the college coaches and those of us who will be scouting both events.

According to Dinos, "The relocation is due to college-related facilities scheduling conflicts at LBCC and the desire to have the camp at a facility where the play at all three courts being used can be viewed by college coaches, media and scouts simultaneously.

The Rim Rattler All-West Camp will again be NCAA certified, and according to Dinos, the official NCAA certification should be reflected on the NCAA web site by June 16th.
