War On The Floor: A Few
Last Minute Changes--(June 24, 2000)
We heard about a couple of changes to the War on the Floor late yesterday, too late for us to post them up:
First: Clovis HS (not Clovis West) will not be playing. In their place, Venice will play. (And in a related bit of news, look for Venice's now graduated class of 2000 to include at least one more D-I player--later for that though).
Second: Rumor (unconfirmed) has it that Adam Leavitt, coach at Cleveland has also pulled his team from the tournament, and more disturbingly, there's a nasty rumor floating around that indicates other previous nasty rumors about Anthony Davis (6'-5" Sr. SG/SF) transferring out of Cleveland may be true. If Cleveland has indeed pulled out of the tournament, we have no word about who will replace them.More later.
