Loyola Marymount Gets Commitment
From
Andy Osborn--(Sept. 29, 2000)
Both Recruiting USA and Pac-West Hoops are reporting that the Loyola Marymount Lions have received a verbal commitment from Andy Osborn, 6-7 PF. Osborn is from Longmont HS in Colorado and played for the Colorado Select team which this summer won the "Open" Bracket division at the BCI Nationals in Colorado. He reportedly gave the verbal commitment to Loyola Marymount coach Steve Aggers this past Tuesday after taking an official visit to LMU two weekends ago, and after visiting Denver last weekend. He was also being recruited by Kansas State, SMU, Montana State and Southern Utah, all of whom had offered scholarships. Loyola only has 11 players on their roster this year, and they will have one senior (Pablo Machado, 6'-10" Sr. C) who will graduate, and we believe that they still have three more scholarships available for next season, not including Kent Dennis and Keith Kincade who are both sitting out this year as red-shirt transfers.
