  2000 Belmont Shore Basketball
Camp Next Weekend--(Oct. 12, 2000)

Dinos Trigonis sent us the following announcement and we're happy to pass it along, and it's primarily directed at some of the younger kids and their parents who frequent the site from time to time. Here it is:

The 6th Annual Belmont Shore Basketball Camp will be held on Saturday & Sunday, October 21 & 22, at Long Beach Millikan High School. 

This camp is designed to teach boys (grades 3-8) the fundamentals needed ot succeed in all aspects of the game. Post, perimeter, and transition play will be broken down to develop individual player skills.   Past camp guest speakers and instructors at the Belmont Shore Basketball Camp have included Steve Lavin (UCLA), Henry Bibby (USC), Lorenzo Romar (St.Louis, although at the time he was with Pepperdine), Michael Holton (UCLA), Dave Miller (USC), Clyde Vaughan (South Florida), John Welch (Fresno State), Chris Walker (Villanova), Jason Levey (Cal State Fullerton) Paul Hoover (Shooting Stars), David Greenwood (former NBA and UCLA star), and Roy Hamilton (former NBA and UCLA star).

The camp fee is $75.00 per player.  All campers will receive an official camp t-shirt.  Camp will be limited to no more than 80 players.   To reserve a spot, or to find out more information, contact Dinos Trigonis at (310) 669, 2307.
