Montclair College Prep Tip-Off
Tournament Set For Dec. 4-9 (Oct. 29, 2000)

Montclair College Prep located in Van Nuys, in the lovely heart of the San Fernando Valley, will be hosting its 2nd Annual "Tipoff Classic" which last year was called the "Small Schools Tournament". Whatever it's called, this one will run from December 4-9, 2000 with all games being played at Montclair Prep. Teams in the tournament include

Kilpatrick
San Gabriel
Montclair Prep
Antelope Valley Christian

Yeshiva
Faith Baptist
West Los Angeles Baptist
Azusa
Hillcrest Christian-Thousand Oaks

The tournament, from what we last heard about a week ago, was still looking for a couple of other teams to participate, and the first round matchups were still left to be determined. This should be a good one, featuring a couple of larger enrollment schools (e.g., Agoura, San Gabriel, Azusa), taking on a couple of the better teams in the lower enrollment divisions (e.g., Montclair Prep, Buckley, Marshall, Yeshiva, AVC). Should be a fun one.
