Two Robinsons In, One
Robinson Out--(Oct. 19, 2000)

As we noted two days ago, the LA City Section refused varsity eligibility for junior guard transfer Frank Robinson, who left Littlerock HS and enrolled at Chatsworth.  But Chatsworth did get Brandon Robinson (6'-3" Sr. SG) who transferred from Sylmar, and he'll be eligible this year.  This morning, the   LA Times (Valley Edition) reported that yet another Robinson will gain varsity eligibility:  Chris Robinson (6'-1" Sr. G) who played last season in Fresno was approved for varsity play at Van Nuys Grant HS (the alma mater of Arizona's Gilbert Arenas. . . and your's truly as well).   The City Section Rules Committee approved Robinson's request for a waiver for this season.
