Thanks to one of our readers for posting the Tournament of Champions pool play schedules on the message board, and we're happy to pass them along again here in the Daily Articles section. Here's what we know so far about the TOC:

There will be four pools of three teams each (total of 12 teams this year down a bit from last year, but should be improved scheduling and overall competition). It looks like LA Fremont, which coach Jim Harris had told us would be participating, won't be there (and with 13 teams someone had to go) The pools are:

The tournament starts a week from Monday, December 4, 2000 and all games will be at Ocean View HS. Here's the pool play schedule:

3:30 pm	Compton vs. Pasadena
5:00 pm	Centennial vs. Cajon
6:30 pm	Mater Dei vs. Ontario
8:00 pm	Ocean View vs. Morningside

Tuesday, December 5
3:30 pm	Morningside vs. Perris
5:00 pm	Ontario vs. Serra
6:30 pm	Cajon vs. Redondo
8:00 pm	Pasadena vs. Santa Barbara

Wednesday, December 6
3:30 pm	Compton vs. Santa Barbara
5:00 pm	Ocean View vs. Perris
6:30 pm	Mater Dei vs. Serra
8:00 pm	Centennial vs. Redondo Union
