State Rankings By Region & Division--(Jan. 30, 2001)
Cal-Hi Sports, which is more than a magazine now that it's acquired a significant web-presence over the past few years, released their latest (i.e., the third) Boys' State and Regional Basketball Polls for this season. Not surprisingly, most of the teams picked in each division are from the SoCal region, but there are more than a few top NorCal teams also represented. The rankings were compiled by Matt Mills and Mark Tennis and can be found at Cal-Hi Sports by clicking on this highlighted link. We're reproducing them (in edited format) below as well. . .since this is SoCalHoops we've highlighted the SoCal-based teams so they're a bit easier to spot. . . Cal-Hi is another great resource for info, stats and stories about high school hoops all over the State of California, and Mark Tennis and his crew have been producing the site for longer than most care to remember, and as a result, they've also built a reputation as one of the most well-respected publications involved in high school athletics anywhere in the country. We highly recommend a visit to their site if you haven't been there lately. Just click on their logo below, or any of the other highlighted links.
Here are the latest rankings:
