Not very many games on Thursday night as most teams took a break to get ready for the big action taking place tonight (Friday) and then the final push next week before the playoffs.   As always, if we missed a score or don't have the details, send it in either by e-mail, or by posting to the message board.

Magnet League

Alpha League

Marshall 90, Paraclete 82--Despite a career-high 37 points from Drew Gill, the visiting Spirits of Lancaster lost an Alpha League game to the Eagles of Pasadena. Gill was 8 of 9 from the free-throw line and made three 3-pointers. Teammates Andy Watts and Matt Marquez added 17 and 12 points respectively for Paraclete (4-13, 1-5).

Christian League

Woodcrest Christian 77,  Arrowhead Christian 69--Woodcrest Christian overcame a 13-point deficit late in the third quarter and knocked Redlands Arrowhead Christian out of the race for first place in the Christian League, leaving Covina Western Christian alone at the top of the league.   ARROWHEAD CHRISTIAN (69) -- Becerra 10, N. Pioneer Christian 52, Liberty Christian 41-- Byroin Cwierz scored a game high 21 points to lead the host Titans (5-6 in league).

Garden Grove League

Los Amigos 67, Bolsa Grande 42--Peter Vu scored 32 points and had 13 rebounds to lead the Lobvos (15-10, 8-2) to the win.   Bolsa Granded droped to 5-5 in league.

Pacifica 66, La Quinta 43--Joel Bruck scored 18 points to lead the host Mariners (14-10, 8-2) over La Quinta (record N/A).

Heritage League

Ribet Academy 96, Faith Baptist 33--Ribet improved to 15-2, 8-0, and clinched the Heritage League title. Faith Baptist fell to 4-14 overall and 1-6 inleague.  Ribet was led by Booker with 17 and 11 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals, Gaines 26 and 6 assists and 6 steals, Woods 19 and 4 steals, Bassey 14, Schafferer 4, Shead 13 and 6 steals, Usher 2.  Faith Baptist's high scorers was Greene with 10.  FB--8  10  12  3--33;  Ribet--23  23   19  30--96.

Grace Brethren 48, LA Lutheran 39--Grace Brethren improved to 7-12 and 5-3 in league. Chad Dursoi scored 17 and 4 blocks.

Lake Arrowhead Christian 55,  Colton Christian Center 36-- Bret Heiser scored a career-high 19 points in a Metro League game. He led Lake Arrowhead Christian to an 18-3 lead at the end of the first quarter with eight points, including two three-pointers. San Gabriel Valley League

Dominguez 68, Downey 35-- The Dons easily beat Downey despite the fact that Tyson Chandler sat for most of the game, missing most of the first three quarters, but came in late in the game and scored 16 points.  Dominguez improved to 20-4, 9-0 and won its 6th straight league title.  Downey fell to 13-12, 3-5 as Chandler shot 5-5 from the field and scored 12 of his pints in the fourth quarter.

South Coast League

San Clemente 64, Dana Hills 63--James Hartman scored 17 points for San Clemente (14-7, 3-5), which overcame a 48-40 third-quarter deficit. Travis Nelson scored 29 points for Dana Hills (8-15, 0-8).

Suburban League

Glenn 84, Cerritos 70--Senior forward Patrick Conroad tied a season-high scoring with 31 points while Darrel Moore, also a senior scored 26 as the Eagles (8-15, 2-8) defeated the host team from Cerritos.

Sunkist League

Ramona 74, Bloomington 68 -- Houston Downey scored eight of his 16 points in the fourth quarter along with Lonnie Fletcher's seven, including two three-pointers, to bring Riverside Ramona back from a two-point deficit at the end of the third. Downey also had 16 rebounds. BLOOMINGTON (68) -- Thomas 14, Davis 6, Hawkins 8, Lee 14, Montoya 11, Tate 15.  RAMONA (74) -- Henry 5, Lewis 13, Downey 16, Carr 22, Alex 11, Fletcher 7.  Halftime score -- Ramona 36-27. King 73, Rubidoux 54-- Marvin Lea scored 33 points and had 13 rebounds to lead Riverside King to a Sunkist League victory. Leon Roseborough had 14 rebounds and 11 points. Valley Torah 56, AGBU 40--Valley Torah improved to 11-5, 4-2 in elauge with the win.

Victory League

Bloomington Christian 70,  Baptist Christian 46 -- Mike Martin and Johnnie Smith scored seven points each in the fourth quarter as Bloomington Christian outscored Hemet Baptist Christian 24-3 to pull away with a Victory League win. Smith finished with 21 points and 16 rebounds and Martin added 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Ravens.  BLOOMINGTON CHRISTIAN (70) -- Martin 19, Brown 4, K. Jordan 3, Smith 21, Rollings 7, J.
