Boys Division I-AAA Bracket:
First Round Pairings--(Feb 12, 2001)

Division I-AAA is a 32 team bracket with no byes and two Wild Card games involving some "At Large" entries.  Basically, for all divisions, every team with 11 wins who petitioned got in.  The wild card games will take place on Wednesday, February 14, 2001:

A.  Esperanza (Sunset At Large) @ Alta Loma (Mt. Baldy At Large)
B.  Lakewood (Moore At Large) @ Bell Gardens (Almont At Large)

The rest of the bracket is fairly predictable, with Upland as the No. 1 seed at the top of the bracket, Eisenhower as the No. 2 seed,  Long Beach Poly as the No. 3 seed, and Ontario as the No. 4.

All first round games in this division are on Friday,   February 16, while the Second Round will be February 20.

All games with the exception of the final round will start at 7:30 p.m. unless another time is mutually agreed upon and clearance is received from the CIF-SS Office.  Public coin flips will be held in the lobby of the CIF-SS Office at 9:00 a.m. ithe day following each playoff game [these coin flips will determine subsquent sites after the first round, i.e., which school will be the host].  Coin flips will be available after 9:30 a.m. and we'll try to keep everyone posted with them here.
