El Toro 68, San Gorgonio 59--Ashkan Nazeri scored 22 points for visiting El Toro (25-3). Chris Parish had 18 points and Matt Green 17 for the Chargers, top seeded in the division. El Toro will face Murrieta Valley in the quarterfinals Friday.

Murrieta Valley 88, University 77--Host University trailed by 11 at halftime, pulled within five after three quarters, but couldn't come all the way back. Jason Garey made six three-pointers and had 32 points and Hiro Christoph had 22 points for the Trojans (16-11). MURRIETA VALLEY (88) -- Larsen 10, Mejia 8, Ricks 16, Campbell 16, Richardson 26, Rider 2, Linsley 10. UNIVERSITY (77) -- Asnon 9, Christoph 22, Fgispel 8, Tran 6, Garey 32.  Halftime score -- Murrieta Valley 40-30. Three-point goals -- Mejia 2, Richardson, Asnon, Christoph 3, Garey 6. Cajon 53, Mission Viejo 37--Visiting Cajon (21-6) took a 27-12 halftime and coasted to the victory. Mykel Valentine led Mission Viejo (16-11) with 15 points. Travis Niesen, who was averaging 21 points coming into the game, finished with seven for the Diablos. Greg Villanueva had eight points.

Thousand Oaks 70, Camarillo 50--The Lancers forced 19 turnovers and held Camarillo to 18 of 48 shooting, including five of 22 in a pivotal first half, on the way to making the quarterfinals for the first time since 1991. Thousand Oaks will play Cajon, a 53-37 winner over Mission Viejo, on Friday  Thousand Oaks (22-5) held Camarillo (15-14) to seven points on three of 15 shooting in the first quarter, though both teams had trouble gaining offensive momentum in the tightly called game. There were 45 fouls. Camarillo trailed at halftime, 30-17.  Ian Caldwell scored 18 points for Camarillo.Thousand Oaks won for the 13th time in 14 games.  Kyle Kegley had 26 points and Ben Olson 16 for the Lancers. J.W. North 78, Crescenta Valley 69--NORTH (78) -- Wynn 19, Mgbeke 8, Bryant 20, Walter 2, Washington 5, Dotson 24. CRESCENTA VALLEY (69) -- Goffedo 15, Tarne 16, Luansing 5, Kang 2, Kula 4, Jenkins 27. Halftime score -- North 40-30. Three-point goals -- Wynn 3, Mgbeke, Tarne, Luansing. Total fouls -- North 17, Crescenta Valley 19. Fouled out -- Kang.

San Clemente 66, Victorville Silverado 55--James Hartman scored nine of his 19 points in the third quarter as San Clemente pulled away from a 29-29 halftime tie. San Clemente advanced to play Riverside North. San Clemente extended its lead with 24 points in the fourth quarte, making numerous breakaway layups against Silverado's press. Four starters scored in double figures for San Clemente (17-7). Eli Owens scored 16 points, Tim Burnette 12 and Matt King 10. King also was five for six from the free-throw line.

Loyola 68, Warren 64 (OT)--Josh Flynn-Brown scored four of his 20 points in overtime, including two critical free throws with five seconds left to lead the Cubs of Los Angeles (18-8) over the Bears (19-9) in a Division II-A second round game at Loyola. Flynn-Brown also had two steals, five assists and three 3-pointers to lead Loyola. Despite 11 3-pointers by Warren, the Cubs were able to stay close. The game featured 12 lead changes and at no time did either team lead by more than six points. Loyola guard Jason Synes came off the bench to hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to send the game into overtime. Chris Rucker added 17 points and seven rebounds for Loyola. Omar Wilkes chipped in with 10 points and four steals. The Bears were led by LeBron Boyd who had 23 points and 10 rebounds with five 3-pointers.

Glendora 75, Montebello 62--Glendora's Kyle Bechler hit five 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 24 points as the Tartans defeated the Oilers last night by a score of 76-62.  The win over the Almont League champions came in a second-round CIF-SS Division I-AA playoff game at Montebello. Glendora, which improved to 24-4, will face Loyola in Friday's quarterfinals at a site to be determined.  Spencer Foster finished with 17 points while Michael Mehanna had13 points. Lauren Smith and Larry Monroe each finished with 10 points.   Jason Ludwig led Montebello with 16 points. Christian Saenz dropped in 14 points and Justin Orozco had 11 for the Oilers, which finished the season 15-9.
