CIF-SS Playoffs: All The Division I-AAA,
I-AA,& I-A Games Today--(Feb. 14, 2001)

Three divisions in D-I:  I-AAA, I-AA, and I-A.   Today will feature only wild card games in these three divisions.  First round action for the rest of the teams begins on Friday. Here's what's happening tonight around SoCal in the CIF Southern Section boys' playoffs in these three divisions.   All games are at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted below:

Division I-AAA

Two wild card games:

Game A:  Esperanza (12-14) @ Alta Loma (13-12)--Note: This game will be played @ 7:00 p.m. The winner gets to play @ Diamond Bar (12-14), Sierra League No. 1 on Friday night.

Game B:  Lakewood (12-14)  @ Bell Gardens (11-15)--The winner of this game will play @ Oxnard (23-3), Pacific View League No. 1 on Friday

Division I-AA

Two wild card games:

Game A:  Palmdale (11-14) @ Century (11-15)--The winner will play @ University (15-10), Pacific Coast League No. 1 (T) on Friday night

Game B: Santa Ana Valley (11-16) @ West Covina (12-14)--The winner of Game B will play@ Cajon (19-6), Pacific League No. 1 on Friday night.

Division IA

Five wild card games:

Game A: Troy (12-15)@ Anaheim (11-15)--The winner gets Mater Dei (24-2), Serra League No. 1, on Friday @ Mater Dei

Game B: Simi Valley (18-8) @ Foothill (14-12)--The winner will play Canyon (Canyon Country) (16-10), No. 1 in Foothill League  on Friday night.

Game C: Trabuco Hills (13-12) @ Arlington (18-9)--The winner gets Woodbridge (21-4), Sea View League No. 1,  on Friday night.

Game D: St. John Bosco ( 17-8) @ La Mirada (10-19)--The winner will play @ Loara (20-8) Friday.

Game E: Katella (12-14) @ Ventura (15-12)--The winner of this game gets Corona Centennial (24-2) in the first round on Friday night.
