CIF-SS Playoffs: All The Division II
(AA & A) Games Today--(Feb. 14, 2001)

Two divisions in D-II in Southern Section:  II-AA and II-A.  Today will feature only wild card games in IIAA and first round action in Division II-A.   All games are at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted below:

Division IIAA

Only one wild card game:

Game A:  Garden Grove (14-9) @ Gahr  (13-12)-- The winner will meet Inglewood (21-5) in the first round on Friday night @ Inglewood.

Division IIA

These are not wild card games, but all games are considered First Round play.  Note that the top four seeds (Mayfair), Redondo, Muir, and Ocean View) all have byes tonight and will play their first games on Friday night. 

Upper half of bracket first round games:

Temple City (13-11) @ Magnolia (13-13)--The lucky winner gets Mayfair (22-2)on Friday

Compton (12-13) @ Pacifica (9-17)--The winner will meet the winner of Bishop Amat v. Palm Desert

Palm Desert (13-12) @ Bishop Amat (18-8)--See above for next game for winner; loser is out.

Hacienda Heights Wilson 16-10) @ Monrovia (21-4)--The winner will play the winner of Barstow v. Fullerton on Friday

Barstow (10-15) @ Fullerton (18-9)--See above for next game to the winner on Friday night; loser is out. .

Hesperia (10-12) @ Bonita (20-6)-- The winner will play @ Ocean View (20-6) on Friday night; loser is out.

Lower half of bracket first round games:

Diamond Ranch (18-8) @ Apple Valley (12-11)--The winner gets to play @ Muir (24-2on Friday

Los Altos (16-10) @ Rosemead (16-10)-- The winner will play the winner of the Bolsa Grande v. Artesia game on Friday.

La Habra (11-16)@ Charter Oak (21-5)-- The winner will play either Dos Pueblos or Newbury Park on Friday.

Newbury Park 13-12) @ Dos Pueblos (16-6)-- The winner plays La Habra or Charter Oak.

Culver City (14-11) @ Lompoc (15-11)-- The winner will meet @ Redondo (21-5)on Friday night.
