Girls Division IV-AA Bracket:
First Round Pairings--(Feb 12, 2001)

This is the smallest of the brackets, a true 16 team bracket with just 4 wild cards and no first round byes. As far as seeding is concerned, Morro Bay is the No. 1 seed and Oak Park got the No. 2 seed in the bracket; Marymount is No. 4, and Valley Christian Cerritos is No. 3

The Wild Card round will take place on Thursday, February 15, 2001, with all games @ 7:30 p.m.

A. St. Mary's Acad. (Del Rey At Large) @ Caprinteria (Tri-Valley #3)
B. Whitney (Delphic At Large) @ St. Paul (Del Rey At Large)
C. Kern Valley (High Desert #4) @ Big Bear (De Anza #3)
D. Louisville (Mission At Large) @ Twentynine Palms (De Anza #4).

First round games are on February 17, and the Quarterfinals are on Wednesday, February 21.

All games with the exception of the final round will start at 7:30 p.m. unless another time is mutually agreed upon and clearance is received from the CIF-SS Office. Public coin flips will be held in the lobby of the CIF-SS Office at 9:00 a.m. ithe day following each playoff game [these coin flips will determine subsquent sites after the first round, i.e., which school will be the host]. Coin flips will be available after 9:30 a.m. and we'll try to keep everyone posted with them here.
