Girls Division IV-A Bracket:
First Round Pairings--(Feb 12, 2001)

This is the smallest of the brackets, a true 16 team bracket with just 4 wild cards and no first round byes. As far as seeding is concerned, St. Bernard is the No. 1 seed and Calvary Chapel Santa Ana got the No. 2 seed in the bracket; Providence is No. 3, and Marlborough is No. 4

The Wild Card round will take place on Thursday, February 15, 2001, with all games @ 7:30 p.m.

A. Westridge (Prep #4) @ Brentwood (Delphic At Large)
B. Holy Family (Horizon #4) @ Maranatha (Olympic At Large)
C. LA Baptist (Alpha #3) @ St. Joseph SM (Los Padres #3)
D. Riverside Notre Dame (De Anza At Large) @ Pomona Catholic (Freelance).

First round games are on February 17, and the Quarterfinals are on Wednesday, February 21.

All games with the exception of the final round will start at 7:30 p.m. unless another time is mutually agreed upon and clearance is received from the CIF-SS Office. Public coin flips will be held in the lobby of the CIF-SS Office at 9:00 a.m. ithe day following each playoff game [these coin flips will determine subsquent sites after the first round, i.e., which school will be the host]. Coin flips will be available after 9:30 a.m. and we'll try to keep everyone posted with them here.
