Division V-A is a 32 team bracket with two byes to the top two seeds, and no Wild Card games.

The first round games were played on Tursday February 15, while Second Round games were all played on Saturday, February 17. Here's what happened on Saturday:

All games with the exception of the final round will start at 7:30 p.m. unless another time is mutually agreed upon and clearance is received from the CIF-SS Office. Public coin flips will be held in the lobby of the CIF-SS Office at 9:00 a.m. the day following each playoff game. Coin flips are used to determine home games if both teams have played an equal number of prior home games; in the event one team has played fewer home games, that team will be the home team and no coin toss is needed. In the semifinals "alternate sites" will be used. The home team gets to select the alternate gym site. It must be a gym that the home team has not conducted a practice at during the season. The home team may have played a game, but cannot have practiced at the alternate site. Coin flips will be available after 9:30 a.m. and we'll try to keep everyone posted with them here.
