Nicholas Curtis Inks National
Letter Of Intent At USC--(Apr. 11, 2001)

We've received word that Nicholas Curtis (6'-8" Sr. PF) from Oxnard High School and a member of the Rockfish travel team has signed his National Letter of Intent with the University of Southern California.  Nicholas was a First Team All-CIF selection this past season, averaging 19.9 points and 14.8 rebounds for the Yellow Jackets who finished with a record of 25-4. Nicholas is tremendous player, with great hands and quickness, and with Coach Bibby's offensive sets and defensive schemes should flourish at USC.  Many NBA scouts we've spoken with about Nick believe that he has the potential to be a premiere player in the league if his development continues on pace.

Nicholas joins twin brothers Errick Craven (6'-2" Sr. G) and Derrick Craven (6'-2" Sr. G) from Bishop Montgomery and Rockfish teammate Rory O'Neil (6'-11" Sr. C) from Ridgecrest Burroughs who signed in the fall signing period.  It is also expected that if Jerry Dupree gets his AA degree and thus qualifies for admission to USC that he will also sign with the Trojans.
