Recent D-II Signings: Pruitt, Harris,
Greenlee, Hagedorn--(May 2, 2001)

Finding out about Division II signings, particularly local signings is sometimes tougher than pulling teeth (at least that's the saying. . . we've never tried it, and it sounds really painful . . . ), but occasionally, it gets reported in the local media.  The LA Times recently reported on a couple of signings at the D-II level, three of them from the Inland Valley region, and one from the Orange County area, specifically a JUCO signee.  Here's what we know: 

1. Upland HS guard Jesse Pruitt (6'-0" Sr. G) signed a NLI with D-II power UC Davis this past Saturday.  He reportedly chose Davis over Cal State San Bernardino, Long Beach State, Lousiana Lafayett and CSU Dominguez Hills.

2. The Aggies earlier signed San Dimas High's Jason Greenlee (6'-1" Sr. SG/PG). 

3.  And last week, Jason Harris (6'-4" Sr. SG/SF) signed with Cal State Dominguez Hills. Harris and Pruitt join Upland's All-CIF Kirk Snyder (6'-7" Sr. G/F) who signed an NLI with D-I University of Nevada-Reno.

4.  D-II Sonoma State got a signed NLI from Orange Coast College standout Chad Hagedorn (6'-4" So. JUCO F). Hagedorn played for OCC from   1999-2001, averaging 17 ppg and 11 rpg this past season, hitting double figures in 27 of 29 games, and he also reportedly had 13 double-doubles.  He was OCC's Co-Most Valuable Player along with Nick Burwell,  and was selected to the All-Orange Empire Conference First team.
