LA Watts Summer Games Girls Results;
Quarterfinalists Set--(June 4, 2001)

The LA Watts Summer Games folks have made our job really easy this year. . . no more updating our own brackets, because this time they've actually put together some really nice looking brackets themselves. . . .You can find all the info about the LAWSG at the official LA Junior Chamber of Commerce website, which has not only the boys and girls basketball brackets, but also some really great info on all the other sports. . .

Here's what happened this weekend among the girls teams:  8 teams advanced, one from each of the 8 separate sites, and the winners will face off this Saturday and Sunday in four quarterfinal games and two semifinals at Jefferson HS.  We've posted the quarterfinal, semifinals and final schedule separately (you can also find these same schedules at the LA Junior Chamber of Commerce website.
