Ryan Hollins Still
Undecided At Five--(Oct. 16, 2001)

We spoke tonight with Muir HS big man Ryan Hollins' (6'-10" Sr. F/C) father, who told us that Ryan has now taken all the official visits that he plans on taking this fall, as well as whatever unofficials he might take too. According to his father, the list of schools that Hollins is interested in remains at five (not three as has recently been reported elsewhere): Oregon, Arizona State, Saint Louis, UTEP and USC.

Ryan visited Oregon, St. Louis and UTEP, taking official visits, and has also visited USC unofficially, as well as taking an unofficial visit to Arizona State. Asked if he was close to a decision, his dad told us that Ryan is, like any young man who just recently turned 17, still very much undecided. "I think he'll make a decision shortly, but he just needs to sit down and put the factors he's considering on a list and then compare the schools, and what they have to offer. I don't think he'll wait until the spring. I think he wants to get it over with, but I also think that he needs to be the one to make the decision," his father told us.
