With the start of the high school season just around the corner, it's not too early to plan where you'll be spending your time in December, particularly if you are a fan, scout, or college coach who wants to watch some of the best players at the high school level and some of the top college prospects. And the 2001 Torrey Pines National Prep Classic will provide plenty of opportunity to see some excellent players and teams. And thankfully, this year's TP Prep Classic will also have it's own website, which will update the scores and stats daily, which means that instead of spending our time typing in scores and other data, that we can actually look forward to watching hoops and then getting some sleep after the games.

The official TPHS National Prep Classic's website won't be operational for a few weeks, but in the meantime, we've received a list of the teams who are slated to appear, and it's impressive, featuring many top teams from California, and a few from outside the state. We'll have more on this tournament as it approaches but in the meantime, here's the official list of participants:
