Long Beach Poly Playing In Utah This Week
@ Ragu Classic--(Dec. 4, 2001)

We just received a note from our friends Greg Perry (from Nevada), and Clark Francis (from the HoopScoopOnline), each independent of the other, about a new inaugural tournament called the "Ragu Classic" which will take place this week in Orem, Utah at the McKay Events Center on the campus of Utah Valley State College.  Among the teams will be Long Beach Poly, along with several other top west coast high school programs (e.g., Mercer Island, etc).  Here's the press release:

The inaugural Ragu Classic will take place this week at the McKay Events Center (8,500 capacity), on the campus of Utah Valley St. College, in Orem, UT. The event will pit five teams from outside the state of Utah against one another and against top Utah teams in a series of games over three days.
