Set For Today At The Pond--(Dec. 8, 2001)

		Game 1: University of Arizona v. Purdue Game 2: UCLA v. Alabama

UCLA might not be playing stellar basketball right now, but it's still worth a trip to the Anaheim Pond to see them take on former UCLA assistant coach Mark Gottfried's Alabama team, and it's definitely worth the trip to see the Arizona Wildcats take on Gene Keady's Purdue team. We're certain there will be plenty of good seating left, but if you want to avoid the rush at the door, tickets can still be purchased in advance by phone or through Ticketmaster. You can order tickets by calling 714-740-2000 or by visiting the Ticketmaster website.

The Arizona v. Purdue game will tip off at 1:30 and the UCLA v. Alabama game will follow immediately thereafter.

We're not certain if the games will be televised also, but if they are, they will no doubt be on KCAL, Channel 9, which is one of the co-sponsors of the event this year. But there's nothing like seeing it in person, and that's where we'll be this afternoon. See you there.
