SCA was formerly sponsored by Nike, and when Pat Barrett ran the team, they were both controversial and one of the best collections of talent anywhere in the country (even if they didn't win very many games. . . but that's another story). In recent years, the teams switched names to "So.Cal.Hoops" and while it's a catchy name, it really never had anything to do with our site. This team reportedly still may be receiving some sponsorship money from the swoosh, but they have thus far played at spring events sponsored by adidas. Pat Barrett seems to be no longer coaching (at least not on the sidelines) with the high school group, although we've heard that he remains involved with some of the younger teams.

These are the rosters which appeared in the program materials at the Double Pump Easter Tournament, and no doubt the lineups will change as players move from team to team. We have no idea where SCA will indeed wind up this summer, but we're betting it will be the Big Time in Vegas and at a few more Double Pump events.
