Boys' Polls--(Jan. 14, 2002)
We just received the official CIF-SS Polls (as of 1/14/02) and while they're pretty similar to our own SoCalHoops Top 20 Polls (ours for this week will be issued later tonight), there are a few differences. The CIF Polls only rank the "Top 10" and then list "others" in only some instances. We've tried, on the other hand, to list just about every team in any division, so our own SoCalHoops Polls are a bit more comprehensive (we believe), and we've also tried to take into account the actual team records, strength of schedule and the personnel we know on each of the teams. We can't vouch for whether or not the coaches and other media who have voted on the official polls have done the same.
